Tessa
Long Hair Siamese/Snowshoe Mix
D.O.B.:
1989
Sex: F
I.D: CF1320
Description:
Hello there. My name is Teesa. I was dumped at the East Valley animal shelter at the age of 16 years young by my so-called family. The shelter card read that the reason they dumped me there was "allergies". What made them think I had become allergic to them?
The way I see it, I've still got plenty of life left in me, and I would like to end my stay on this planet in the warm and loving home of someone who will appreciate my combination of tortie point looks and Siamese/snowshoe charms, including this bushy tortie tail that I love to swish about. That perfect line down my face dividing orange from black is rather intriguing too don't you think? I like to trot around too when I'm feeling especially spry and show off my lovely coat and that swishy tail. I know I certainly deserve better than the euthanasia table at some awful animal shelter.
As an elder kittizen, I'll admit that I require a bit of above-normal maintenance. You see, my kidneys are starting to give out on me, but my foster mom has been giving me SubQ fluids every other day and I am doing well now thank you. I still enjoy eating on my own—I especially love breakfast! I may not hear or see as well as a young kitten, but I think I would like to stick around for a while longer. I am not crazy about other cats or dogs or noisy, busy households (or people who dump old cats at animal shelters for that matter); so I would like a quiet household with perhaps one or two people to fawn over me. I am extremely loving and enjoy cuddling and nuzzling, and once I'm comfortable with you and my new environment I'll sit on your lap and even let you rub my slim, soft belly. I'll be with you when you go to sleep and when you wake up, and I will always be happy to see you when you come home. I’ll even tell you so as I like to converse and purr-meow. I still enjoy playing (see my pictures) and really like to be with my people. Please give me a chance!
Hi folks—nobody knows how long Teesa will be with us; and she is more than welcome to stay with me until it’s time for her to trek over the Rainbow Bridge. Only because my household has many kitties in it am I even putting Teesa girl up on the website. She would REALLY like to be an only cat (and no dogs either) and have an entire household to call her own. If you’re up to giving this girl her fluids, and I might add that she is VERY good about receiving her fluids—she practically jumps into her little area every other day—I do believe she knows the fluids help her, on a regular basis and have some time to spend with her, please contact me, her foster mom, and I’ll be happy to set up meeting. Teesa is VERY special and it’s so sad that her family gave her up to the animal shelter.
Special Care: Tessa needs to receive Sub-Q fluids every other day.
If you are interested in learning more about Tessa, please email her foster mom.
