DeeDee is the best dog living at the sanctuary. Ok, true, she is actually a cat – but don’t tell her that! DeeDee is every bit as loyal as any canine could be. She was rescued from a bad situation where she and dozens of other cats were confined to living in carriers just large enough to contain them 24/7. We will never know how long she lived like that, but she’s never let her past get her down.

This fuzzy girl loves to be held like a baby and will sit by your side thought thick and thin. One of her favorite things is to be brushed while she sates at you adoringly.

DeeDee is FeLV+ but so far she is not showing any signs of illness. She could still have plenty of years ahead of her. However, it does mean she can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but to be honest, DeeDee would be happiest as an only cat where she can shower you with devotion and be the center of attention.
