Kitten Rescue acquired Bitsy when it took over the sanctuary in 2006, when he was 4 years old (born in 2002). At this time, Bitsy seemed feral but since has been socialized into a great lap cat! Unfortunately, Bitsy is so content living at the sanctuary that he had difficulty adapting to a new home when he was adopted in the beginning of 2008. When he was returned to the sanctuary, he showed his appreciation by prancing around and head-butting all his kitty friends. Thus although Bitsy is a healthy and friendly, he is one of the few original sanctuary cats that are still living there.
